This year marks the 7th annual Cintron Pink Polo hosted at Val de Vie Estate in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness. This opulent event is one of the most promising celebrations in the Western Cape’s social and polo calendar.
Cintron Pink Polo aims to honour survivors and fighters globally on a vocal platform. Guests can expect to be on the edge of their seats for a sensational afternoon of legendary polo, a unique food and fashion experience – a day of sensory delights heightened by a worthy & life-transforming purpose.
This year, Cintron Pink Polo teams up with Fynbos Valley Gift Boxes, to create an initiative called the Blossom Box Boutique.
It is a movement of like-minded people from a vibrant valley who wish to bless the chemo patients by pampering them with luxurious gifts made by local entrepreneurs and placed in a handcrafted wooden gift box.
At the Cintron Pink Polo event, taking place on 5 November 2016, guests will have a shopping experience where they can select a gift, write a note of encouragement on a tag and place the product in the box. These boxes will be delivered to St. Stephen Oncology Centre, where 55 ladies will find the beautifully branded gift box on their seat when arriving for their treatment.
Funds are generated from the tickets sold at Cintron Pink Polo, so not only are guests experiencing a world class polo event but also creating awareness and practically empowering women who are bravely facing the challenging aspects of chemotherapy.
The project does not end here.Throughout the year, people will be able to purchase boxes or donate funds to bless even more ladies. This can be done through the Fynbos Valley Gift Boxes website.
Products for 2016 will include:
- Zip bag
- Scented Soap
- Floral chocolate
- Lip balm
- Polaroid photo by local Instagrammers
- Wooden keepsake box by Fynbos Valley Gift Boxes
